RESOLUTIONS COMPLETED!

Happy new year to you, I trust you had a good christmas break, and are ready to complete your resolutions this year.

If you make new years resolutions, are you able to follow them through to completion? If yes... great. If no... why not? What is it that stops you from successfully carrying out your goals?

Paradigms!

What are they?

They are a collection of actions that have been repeated enough times to become ingrained habits. Habits are very compelling, and it becomes very difficult to break the cycle.

Of course, this is fine if they are good habits that benefit your life. Resolutions are often based on stopping negative habits.

Why are habits so hard to break, even after making a decision to do so?

One way of changing this, is to counter a negative habit by adding a new positive habit to fill the empty space.

What are the key elements that can stop your from achieving success with your new years resolutions?

Priorities!

We all have so much to do each day, and it is difficult to fit it all in. That is why so many task are left undone. There is just not enough time.

What's the answer?

Go through everything you do and Let Go of all of the things that are a waste of time and effort. Then move your new years resolutions up into the top 5 things that you 'have' to do each day.

Then all you have to do is ensure that these are completed every day without fail. Here's an excellent example of this...

Have you heard of Dr Wayne Dyer? He is a truly inspirational speaker, who has written dozens of best selling books. He gives motivational talks all over the world to packed seminars.

He used to be a runner, and ran 8 miles every single day... without fail. Even when he was unwell, or didn't feel like it... he ran the 8 miles.

How long did he do this?

21 years!

Yes, that's right... he ran 8 miles, every day, for 21 years...

Now that's commitment, and a great example of priorities. Something he decided was important enough to do every day.

Imagine what you can achieve with this type of persistence.

Go ahead!

There's nothing in your way... except yourself. Get out of your own way, drop the bad habits and focus on the good one's.

When is the best time to start?

Next year? next week? tomorrow? later on? in a minute? OR...

Right Now!

Now, in this present moment, is where ALL of your power is. Start now... enjoy your journey to success and be happy!
