New Soil Association Report on GM Animal Feed The Soil Association has recently published the findings of its investigation into the use of GM animal feed. We have been shocked to find that very large quantities of GM feed are being used in the UK to produce our food.
Around 60% of the maize and 30% of the soya is GM in the feed used by dairy and pig farmers. This means that most of the non-organic milk, dairy products and pork being sold in the UK is from GM-fed animals.
Despite the non-GM policies of the supermarkets, all are widely allowing the use of GM feed, except for their fresh own-label chicken, turkey and eggs which are produced from non-GM feed. Due to a loophole in the law, none of this food is labelled as 'GM' so it is difficult to avoid.
M&S, however, is far ahead of the others as all of their milk and fresh meat is from non-GM fed animals; but even they are not requiring non-GM feed for their frozen and processed products. At the moment, 'organic' is the only food type which prohibits GM feed.
New scientific evidence, reviewed in the report, shows that small amounts of GM DNA end up in milk and animal tissues of GM-fed animals, contrary to the assurances from the Food Standards Agency. In addition, at least 13 animal feeding trials now show a range of alarming health effects in animals fed GM: lesions in the gut, toxic effects in body organs, unexplained deaths and stunted growth in their offspring.
We believe that GM-fed animals should not be used to produce our food.

MASSAGE POINTS FOR OPTIMUM HEALTH
I have made an intense and complete study on the necessary requirements for Optimum Health. The following information contains some of the best health re-balancing info in my research.
My studies on neuro-lymphatic massage were very complicated and it took me some time to get a clear understanding of the subject. So I will not go into all of the boring nitty-gritty details here.
Is an expert someone who makes simple things complicated, or someone who makes complicated things simple?
If You imagine that the body is an electrical system, which it is, in a way. When there is an overload in Your electric supply, usually a fuse is blown, and needs to be replaced. This is far better than destroying the whole system, and can easily be solved.
It is very much the same with Your body. If You put too much pressure on any of your 'systems' they will take so much, but will begin to get weaker.
Some people are very sensitive to what is going on with their mind's and body's, but the rest of us have far too much to do each day and we lose some of this sensitivity. In this way we do not notice some of the pressure we put on our body's organs.
After a while the body will reveal to you that something needs to be changed in what You are doing. If you still do not pick up on this information, your body will become less subtle with its message, and hit You right between the eyes with it.
In other words you will become unwell, sick, dis-eased. Your body is telling you that something needs to change Now! At this stage it is too late to simply 'change the fuse', for a quick fix.
Our aim here is to give You some tools to keep Your body maintained at a good level of health... prevention is far better than cure.

MASSAGE POINTS TO PREVENT ILL HEALTH
The best way to do neurolymphatic massage is simply to apply your hands and fingers to the area and rub, knead, and stimulate in a circular manner.
If you think this is too difficult, it's not... You already do this, but without knowing it. If you have a headache you will automatically massage the painful area. In fact wherever you have an ache your hands already will be attracted to the area, holding and rubbing etc.
All we are saying here is to do this massage to certain areas of your body, every day to help prevent stress, tension and other problems. If you do this for a few minutes a couple of times each day, it will go a long way towards Your goal of Optimum Health.
Do not try to improve things too fast by over massaging, go slow, a few minutes only each time to build up the relaxation effect for real benefits.
Of course there are many factors involved in Health... air, water, nutrition, exercise, relaxation, and mind power. All of these need to be examined and worked on for best results.
One of the first massage points You may want to use is in the central area of Your body. This area is regarded as the '2nd brain', as many of the body's functions are related to this area, known as the solar plexus.
If You place the fingers of both hands just under your ribcage, and push in and slightly up, you will find the right place. Add some pressure and rotate and massage the whole area. If there is some tension here (there often is) it will gradually be released.
Also remember to breathe deeply as this will help release any tension and stress in the solar plexus. This is a powerful technique, You will reap the rewards if it is done on a regular basis... daily!

HARA - THE MOST IMPORTANT MASSAGE POINT
During my studies I have learnt many pearls of wisdom, from the Asian way of life. I have used this regularly myself, during my 20+ years of studying the Martial Art of Aikido - The Way of Peace.
One of the best tips I can give You here is how to use Your centre of gravity, in your way of being. This centre or balance point can be found if you stand up straight, breathe deeply, raise your shoulders up, relax and drop them down. Do this a few times.
You should now be a bit more relaxed and feel that your muscles are loose and at ease. Your centre of gravity, balance point, will be found 2 finger distance below your navel (belly button). The Japanese call this... Hara, Seika-no-itten, one point, etc.
Place the tips of the fingers, of both hands on this point, add some pressure and massage. Rotate the massage in a circular manner, for a few minutes, a couple of times each and every day for best effects.
Another practise using this point you may want to try is to put your mind there, focus and concentrate your thoughts in this area, especially useful to control extremes of emotion... anger, sadness etc... as used by the world famous Hypnotherapist and NLP expert Paul McKenna)
In Aikido we are taught to have our minds focused on the one point constantly. This gives us the ability to react quickly to fast changing circumstances in our environment, to be able to stay in control.
